01 / Reading & Writing
From recognising letters to reading words.
Listen to letters, match capitals and lowercase, trace letter shapes and hunt for words. Reading and writing paths give practice somewhere to go.
For curious kids. And their grown-ups.
Reading a new word. Working out a sum. Finally getting the clock. Lumlo gives children a playful place to practise, with a friend to cheer them on.

What shall we try today?
Start with letters, spend a little time on numbers, or bring this week’s vocabulary along. There’s room for different interests and different starting points.

Listen to letters, match capitals and lowercase, trace letter shapes and hunt for words. Reading and writing paths give practice somewhere to go.
02 / Maths & Telling the time
Explore counting, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Read an analogue or digital clock, then set the time yourself.
03 / Vocabulary
Scan a vocabulary sheet or choose a photo. Review the words and translations, then practise with flashcards, choices or typing.

A reason to try another round
Finishing practice rounds earns stars. Children can save them for clothes and accessories, then give Lumlo a look of their own.
A helping hand for grown-ups
It can be hard to get a child practising what they find difficult. Parent power-ups let you offer double stars for a chosen activity, or set a practice-time goal with a reward and a personal message.
How parent power-ups workYou choose where the extra stars go.
My Learning keeps their play time, completed games and results together, with filters for learning areas.
